Barber says government must listen to farmers' concerns
It's vital that government creates a regulatory landscape to support our Island's farmers.
That's from Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber, who says her department needs to continue to listen and respond to farmers' concerns.
Speaking to Manx Radio at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show, Mrs Barber said people underestimate the amount of work that goes into farming to make the career a viable option:
