Decisions on southern developments delayed

Planners put things on hold for a fortnight

Planners have chosen to delay a decision on an application by developer Dandara to build almost 300 homes in Ballasalla.

The planning committee will now consider the plans in two weeks' time.

It also delayed making a decision on an application for approval in principle to construct a new estate near to the Golden Meadow Mill in Castletown.

The committee did today approve plans which will see the Island get the first 24-hour pizza vending machine in the British Isles.
