'Cultural shift' needed on Island to fight climate change

Island represented at COP26 conference

There needs to be a 'cultural shift' on the Isle of Man in its immediate response to climate change.

That's the belief of Douglas Councillor, Devon Watson, as the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow gets underway.

The Isle of Man is being represented at the conference by Garff MHK Daphne Caine, Chair of the Island's Climate Change Transformation Board.

Mr Watson thinks considering cheaper or free public transport and better home insulation are key priorities.

He adds addressing these could also help tackle economic challenges:
