UK-based Cube Partnership takes over TT merchandise production

Supplier to hire locally for TT 2023

Official TT merchandise is being taken over by a new supplier.

The Department for Enterprise has confirmed Cube Partnership will be responsible for producing official products for the Isle of Man TT Races.

The new supplier, DfE says, will deliver a range of products ahead of TT 2023 and facilitate the year-round availability of products on Island by collaborating with local independent retailers.

Andy Bough, Cube’s Commercial Director, says:

We will be looking to work collaboratively alongside the Isle of Man’s business and retail community and will be visiting the Isle of Man shortly to meet with local retailers who are interested in stocking TT merchandise ahead of this year’s event.

"In addition, we are also recruiting locally for staff to work on the event and will be offering training programmes for people to develop sports industry retail experience."

Merchandise will also be available for people to purchase online at iomttraces.com and in retail concessions at the TT Grandstand and Nobles Park throughout the TT fortnight.

The announcement comes after local outlet, Motorsport Merchandise on Duke Street in Douglas, confirmed earlier this month it was closing down after being a merchandise provider for the last 34 years.

The store confirmed to Manx Radio it had not applied to be part of the tender process to be a provider due to 'commercial reasons'.
