Eleven questions are expected to be put to various departments by backbenchers
Former Education Minister Julie Edge is using her freedom as a backbencher to ask two questions in this morning’s House of Keys session.
Both concern reports.
One is into funding for her former portfolio, after she was replaced by Garff MHK Daphne Caine.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan will be asked when an education funding review will be released, and to give a statement.
Ms Edge also wants a version of the Brunner report into government handing of Covid with any changes between two versions laid before Tynwald specified.
Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher on the putative suicide prevention strategy and when there will be a review of the tax cap.
Tynwald are due to discuss the government tax strategy next month which will see the higher rate of income tax lifted by two percent.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew's Jason Moorhouse asks about external advice taken on the recent income tax increase.
Ms Faragher is expected to ask if the infrastructure minister will consider trialling free public transport across the Island.
And Douglas Central's Chris Thomas inquires on airport corporatisation.
