Admitted possessing psilocybin and cannabis
A court's heard a Douglas man smashed up his flat causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Twenty-two-year-old Callum Michael O'Connor, of Bucks Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He's pleaded guilty to possessing Psilocybin and cannabis as well as causing criminal damage at an earlier hearing.
Police visited O'Connor's home last October and discovered almost 30 grammes of magic mushrooms under a tea towel in his kitchen.
The court heard he'd been arrested last August when officers found 0.5 grammes of cannabis in his flat - he told them he'd forgotten he had the drugs.
In January this year O'Connor moved out of an apartment and his landlord rang police after discovering 13 holes in walls and a radiator torn from the wall.
After hearing O'Connor had planned to take the mushrooms to help with his mental health High Bailiff Jayne Hughes told him he shouldn't experiment with illegal drugs.
She ordered him to do 140 hours of community service and pay £150 towards prosecution costs.
