Closing North Quay to vehicles could 'support local businesses'

TT week also sees earlier closures to traffic

Closing North Quay to vehicles each night through the summer could increase footfall and support local businesses.

Douglas Council started a new scheme on Good Friday which sees the area accessible only to pedestrians from 4.30pm each day.

There will also be a special closure in TT week with the quayside closing to traffic from 11.30am each morning.
