Charity 'waiting for dam to break' on rising living costs

Debt counselling service emphasising importance of budgeting

A charity says it's 'waiting for the dam to break' over rising living costs on the Isle of Man.

The Salvation Army believes some residents will be severely impacted later this year - despite the potential for some pressure to level out in the warmer months.

Debbie White is the co-ordinator of the organisation's Debt Advice Service.

She thinks being able to budget well is more important in the current climate:

Anyone who feels they may be struggling financially can contact the Debt Advice Service on 675 702.
