A candidate in next week’s South Douglas by-election says she’d try to divide her time equally between constituency and national matters.
Amy Burns faces Kurt Buchholz, Keith Fitton, and Bill Malarkey in a four-way contest for the seat left vacant by David Cretney.
Amy, who describes herself as a homemaker, says her emphasis would be on bringing more money into government rather than finding things to cut back on.
But she says her constituents’ demands would come first:
Weather warning issued ahead of heavy rain
Pay talks between DoI and ATCOs 'going well'
Douglas school chosen for 'adaptive classroom' project
