Calf wardens share snaps from camera traps

Snipes, pheasants and a brood of ducklings caught on the mooch

Wardens on the Calf of Man have introduced some new technology to keep an eye on visiting birds.

Camera traps have been set up at 'strategic locations' across the island, to help monitor populations that would otherwise go unseen.

So far, a jacksnipe, a female pheasant and a brood of mallard ducklings have been pictured.
