Onsite evaluation of IoM to take place next year
MONEYVAL, the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism, has confirmed that it will conduct its onsite evaluation of the Isle of Man in October next year.
Preparations are already well advanced across multiple Government agencies, while industry involvement will be stepped up from Q2 of 2025.
A seminar has taken place at the Comis Hotel, hosted by Jersey based company, Tiller Technologies, to help inform local companies what might be expected of them if they find they're to receive a visit from MONEYVAL inspectors.
Tiller's chief executive and co-founder is Jonathan Wauton - he explains what MONEYVAL is and why Isle of Man businesses should take note of it:

Two local authorities submit objections to Ă˜rsted's offshore windfarm proposals
