Uplifts to state pension, Carer's Allowance and maternity allowance
Increasing benefits on the Isle of Man will cost £26.4 million over the next 12 months.
The basic state pension and Manx state pension will jump by 10.1 per cent and Income Support, Child Benefit, Employed Person’s Allowance and income-based Jobseekers Allowance will climb by 9.8 per cent.

Carer’s Allowance will rise by 10.7 per cent.
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson said: “Recognising the valuable role that carers play in our community, and to provide additional support to those who may have given up or refrained from work in order to look after another person, I have decided to increase the rate of carer’s allowance by a further £15 a week.
“This builds on the 15 per cent increase provided last year.
“This will result in additional spend on this benefit of just under half a million pounds a year, assisting almost 600 carers.”
Maternity, paternity and adoption allowances are also being increased by 16.8 percent.
