Border changes 'flawed' in addressing risks says Hooper

CoMin accused of denying access to Public Health advice

A Ramsey MHK has described proposed changes to the Island's border regulations as 'flawed' saying they are 'woefully inadequate' in addressing the risks the Island faces.

In Tynwald today, during debate over changing public health rules, Lawrie Hooper said the Council of Ministers wasn't listening.

Politicians are currently discussing making changes to the border rules.

And Mr Hooper accused CoMin of stopping politicians from getting advice from the director of public health:
