Public can attend York Minister service
A date has been set for the consecration of the Island's new bishop.
The Venerable Peter Eagles will be formally installed as the Church of England's figurehead for the Diocese of Sodor and Mann at York Minster on 22 June.
The ceremony will be conducted by the Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu, who will also consecrate the new Bishop of Sheffield.
Arrangements have been made for members of the Manx public who would like to attend - but tickets must be booked in advance.
