Ben goes to dry dock for a week

Manannan and Arrow to cover period

The Ben-my-Chree has gone into dry dock for her annual overhaul after she sailed to Cammell Laird in Birkenhead last night.

The Steam Packet vessel will return to service on Thursday, 2 May - ahead of the bank holiday weekend.

Fast craft Manannan will operate passenger services to both Heysham and Liverpool for the next week.

The daily Heysham sailing will depart Douglas at 8am, with trips to Merseyside leaving at 3.30pm.

A replacement coach service at Heysham will transfer foot passengers to and from Lancaster railway station.

The MV Arrow will provide freight services during this period.
