Bank holiday power line problems for MER

The Manx Electric Railway says it has resolved technical problems which beset bank holiday tram services in the north of the Island.

Overhead wire problems between Laxey and Ramsey halted tram journeys on that section of the route during part of Monday (6 April).

It was feared the problem could take some time to fix but the MER says the line has now re opened and a full timetable is operating between Derby Castle in Douglas and Ramsey.
