Baby food recalled by Heinz and Tesco

Sharp metal fragments found in jar

A product recall notice has been issued for Heinz baby food by the manufacturer and Tesco.

Specifically, it's the 7+ months Heinz by Nature range, after it was discovered a single jar of baby food had been tampered with.

Two sharp metal fragments were found in the jar.

Only jars in the 7+ month range which have been purchased from Tesco are affected.

The same product and same batch codes at other retail stores and in other packaging - pouches, for example - are not affected.
