
Measures in place to stop UK fishermen bringing Covid-19 ashore
New controls have been put in place at ports after concerns visiting fishermen, who aren't classed as key workers, could bring Covid-19 ashore.
For the King Scallop season (which starts on Sunday, 1 November) they can only land catch in Peel and Douglas, where a one-in-one-out system will be put in place.
Most of Peel breakwater will be fenced off until next May to create a secure area for crews to unload.
