Two wanted British citizens have admitted using the Isle of Man to launder cash through a large-scale benefits fraud.
Anthony Kearney and Donna McCafferty fled to the Costa Blanca last November after appearing on a wanted list.
They admitted fraud and money laundering charges at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The duo claimed tens of thousands of pounds in housing benefit and income support as well as making £10,000 in credit card scams.
The court heard they had more than £330,000 in offshore accounts in the Island.
Kearney, 45, admitted defrauding £42,392 from the Department of Work and Pensions and £10,350 from the Bank of Scotland and Clydesdale Bank as well as using fake company names to transfer £126,400 into the Manx account.
McCafferty, 43, admitted defrauding £13,003 of housing benefit.
Both will be sentenced next month.
