
Next week's sitting of Tynwald will be asked to receive the Second Interim Report of the Select Committee on Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander (Isle of Man) Limited, and approve a number of recommendations.
A three man committee, made up of chairman Juan Watterson MHK, Alan Crowe MLC and John Houghton MHK, lists eight conclusions and makes a total of nine suggestions for change.
One of the recommendations would prevent directors of banks from being members of the Financial Supervision Commission, and vice versa.
However, Mr Watterson says that doesn't imply the potential conflict of interests was a specific issue in the KSF case:
