The Association of Corporate Service Providers has organised a seminar on the criticality of effective client due diligence (CDD) and how to achieve it.
It will be held on Friday, July 10 and delivered by Stephen Platt of Jersey-based law firm and regulatory training specialists BakerPlatt/Forward.
Topics will include an explanation of CDD; the drivers for and consequences of inadequate CDD; undertaking business risk assessment; recognising the need for enhanced CDD in high-risk relationships; barriers to achieving effective CDD, and an introduction to BakerPlatt/Forward’s bespoke software solution KYC 360, designed to manage high-risk client relationships.
The seminar, free to staff of ACSP member firms and associate members, will take place at the Loch Promenade Church, Douglas, with registration from 12.15pm for a prompt 12.45pm start.
