Founder will continue to operate Island dealership
BCC Cars in Kirk Michael has confirmed it’s unaffected by a new deal with the Chorley Group.
The group has acquired two Citroen dealerships from the BCC Cars group, for an undisclosed sum, in Blackburn and Bolton.
The Chorley Group operates 12 businesses across the North West and employs 300 people.
Founder, and chairman, of BCC Mike Holt said he will continue to operate the Hyundai business in Bury and the dealership on the Isle of Man.
He added: "I established BCC Ltd in 1980 using my father’s house as security so it means a lot to me.
"We all worked hard to make it the success it is and I wouldn't let it go to just anyone and I am delighted that Chorley Group will be taking over.
"On a personal note I am excited to be free to spend more time with my expanding family whilst I am in good health and will continue to operate our Hyundai business in Bury as well as our dealership in the Isle of Man."
