
The Financial Supervision Commission has released details of a number of individuals who have fallen foul of United Nations sanctions against Al-Qa'ida and the Taliban.
There is a long list of Somalis, Tunisians, Libyans and Algerians who all live in Italy and have connections to terrorist organisations.
Also named is Sheikh Hersi Al-Turki, a 64 year old Ethiopian who leads the Al-Itihaad Al-Islamiya terrorist group and was involved in attacks on American embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam ten years ago.
Kenyan Sheikh Ahmed Salim – known as Ahmed the Tall – is said to have been involved in the same attacks and is also named.
