The minister for economic development says his department has been a success, in terms of bringing business to the Isle of Man.
In a written reply to a Tynwald question, Allan Bell highlights some of the work DED has done since its creation, in April last year.
Mr Bell says five companies new to the Island have been set up in the period, 18 new gambling licences have been approved, and 153 aircraft have been registered on the Island requiring the formation of 17 new companies.
Mr Bell says the work of the department is ongoing, particularly in relation to the global promition of the Island.
