Manx Radio confirmed keynote partner for Cyclefest

Manx Radio is to play a key role in an ambitious new cycling event planned in the Island next year.

The station has been confirmed exclusive broadcast partner for Cyclefest 2016 - which will take place over three days next May.

A live commentary will be mounted for the opening Pearl Izumi tour series race as well and coverage is planned for the other highlights - a mountain bike race, a hill climb on the TT course and a mass cycling event for families.

Listeners will hear all the news from the festival village at Milntown estate in Ramsey, in a series of outside broadcasts.

Manx Radio is one of a number of local firms and organisations appointed to promote Cyclefest, whose main sponsor is Isle of Man Bank.
