A team from Castle Rushen High School has taken a big step forward raising funds for a trip to the finals of a Junior Achievement competition in Oslo.
More than 70 people joined a sponsored walk around the National Sports Centre on Sunday, as part of JA's 700 mile challenge.
That's the distance from the Isle of Man to Oslo, where in August, the Castle Rushen team will represent the Island in the Junior Achievement-Young Enterprise Company of the Year Competition.
The students won the 2011 Company of the Year trophy, with their idea for a school stationery vending machine.
Sunday's event was sponsored by Nordea Life and Pensions Ltd and was started by three-time Parish Walk winner Jock Waddington.
So far £4,000 has been raised for the Oslo trip.
