Existing staff to be retained
A major deal affecting car dealerships in the Isle of Man has been announced.
Jacksons Motor Group is already set to open a large, multi-brand showroom on the outskirts of Douglas in late 2017.
It has now confirmed it's acquired the Buchanan Group, including Buchanan BMW / Mini, Caledonian Toyota / Lexus and Eurocars.
Jacksons will for now rent the existing facilities, until that move to its own dealership next year.
Jacksons says all existing staff are being retained and there is still plenty of scope to recruit many more.
