Island space industry at centre of international event

The CEO of Manx space company ManSat has been telling an international audience about the Island's space entrepreneurs..

Chris Stott took part in the Perspectives on Space Enterprise panel event at the International Festival of Business currently taking place in Liverpool.

He was joined by representatives from the European Space Agency, the UK Space Agency, the Satellite Catapult in Harwell, the Space Angels Investors Network, and Manchester University.

Organised by the British Interplanetary Society, the event was aimed at entrepreneurs, industry professionals and space enthusiasts.

Mr Stott joined the panel on a video link from the United States, and spoke about the satellite industry.

He stressed the importance of a close relationship between the Isle of Man and the UK in the sector, and described space as a ‘tool of inward investment’.
