Isle of Man corporate service provider Cavendish Trust has announced its merger with Jersey-based Garfield Bennett Trust Company Ltd.
Cavendish Trust was established in 2006 and currently services clients in the aviation, space, e gaming and foundation sectors.
Its new Channel Islands partner was incorporated two years earlier to manage the trust business of Garfield Bennett English Solicitors.
Cavendish Managing Director James Cunningham-Davis commented: "The combined strength of the two businesses with offices in Douglas and St Helier will create a highly experienced, cross-jurisdictional trust, corporate and fund services company."
Garfield Bennett's MD William Bennett added the firms now have more than 100 years of combined senior level fiduciary experience to draw on.
The companies form part of the same group but will continue trading under their current names for the time being.
