Kendrick Investments suing Circle K Holdings
An Island company is at the centre of a lawsuit concerning a lucrative Irish fuel deal.
Douglas-based Kendrick Investments, owned by Cork billionaire Denis O'Brien, is suing Circle K Holdings for 4.7 million Euros it claims it's owed, following the sale of the Topaz chain of filling stations last year.
Circle K, a Canadian business, is accused of breaching the terms of its deal, which was valued in excess of 400 million Euros.
Mr O'Brien is one of Ireland's richest men, with an estimated fortune of around £5 billion.
