Hong Kong posting for almuni intern

Ex-KWC pupil posted to Strix's far east office

An immersive internship in the Hong Kong office of Island firm Strix awaits a former King William's College student this summer.

Twenty-year old Oliver Mealin has been named the first recipient of the Barrovian Alumni Internship, launched by KWC and Strix for a College alumnus.

Manx-born Oliver, who's studying international business at the University of Kent, will work alongside Strix's senior business analyst Catherine Tam, on human resources and finance projects.

Oliver says he's 'deeply honoured' to have been chosen for the  June - September internship, which he hopes will 'prove invaluable' in his future career.

He attended The Buchan School and King William's College, where he studied the International Baccalaureate.

Strix, which sells its kettle control technology around the world, is headquartered at Ronaldsway.
