Brewery is reviewing Douglas league
Heron and Brearley has denied suggestions it's pulling funding from pub sports leagues across the Island.
Manx Radio was told the brewery was planning to withdraw its sponsorship of local competitions next season, amid financial pressures caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
But H&B says it is: "continuing to support our sports leagues, particularly our pool and darts leagues."
It will continue to sponsor and support the Northern and Southern league as usual, a spokesperson said.
The brewery confirmed it is reviewing the Douglas league, but "only to make sure it is standardised and fair in comparison with the level of support the other leagues receive from us."
