Firm's Indian production house deal
Manx-based film company Eros International says it’s signed a deal with one of India’s biggest production houses.
The strategic alliance with Puja Entertainment & Films means it’s bought a 50 per cent stake in the company owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani.
It means a number of remakes for Indian blockbusters from the ‘No 1’ series including Hero No 1, Coolie No 1 and Biwi No 1.
Kishore Lulla, chairman of Eros International, says teaming up with Vashu – who’s responsible for some of the biggest Bollywood hits – extends the existing association between the two companies.
