easyJet responds to 'flash in the pan' jibe

The new airline flying out of Ronaldsway, easyJet, has rebutted a claim by its Liverpool route competitor that the Manx route won't last long.

FlyBe, which also flies to John Lennon airport, says Islanders 'shouldn't be duped into thinking easyJet will last very long' on the route.

This morning Easyjet confirmed a six days a week service starting on May 21 using a 156 seat Airbus 319.

General manager, Paul Simmons, has this response to Flybe's claim.
