Employment specialist made director
Employment law specialist at Island firm DQ Advocates Leanne McKeown has been appointed to the board of directors.
Senior lawyer on DQ's dispute resolution team, she joined the firm from Northern Ireland in 2011, re-qualifying as a Manx advocate.
Ms McKeown is recommended for her "exceptionally clear and practicable advice" in the most recent edition of the law profession directory Chambers and Partners.
She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Institute of Directors, and also sits on the Chamber of Commerce employment and skills committee.
Ms McKeown's promotion to the board credits her role in the recent growth of the firm's employment practice, which she now heads.
