A delegation from the Manx Government and the Isle of Man's private sector has returned from the International Boat Show in Dubai.
They were there to promote the Manx shipping register and encourage wealthy boat owners to add their names to the list.
Director of Isle of Man Marine Administration Dick Welsh (pictured) says that while the intention is to attract investment, there are currently no plans to organise a similar event on the Island:
