Global awards recognise Manx products
Smiles are spreading at Isle of Man Creamery after two of its butters were named winners in the Global Cheese Awards.
The Creamery's Whey Butter was named Best in Show in the contest held at the Frome Cheese Show, where the Manx producer also picked up a Gold Award in the salted butter in branded packaging category.
The awards attract cheese and dairy products from around the world, with a panel of industry specialists judging around 1000 entries.
Creamery Managing Director Findlay MacLeod said: "It really does speak volumes about our dedication to producing high quality Manx produce that can compete with and win, against butters from all over the world."
