The Island's 4th July Independents' Day promotion to buy local
It's Independents' Day in Douglas tomorrow (Saturday, July 4).
The capital's independent shops and retail outlets are taking part in a joint town centre promotion organised by Douglas Development Partnership.
Around 15 stores, salons and cafes will celebrate their contribution to the high street, and the Manx economy, by promoting their specialist - sometimes unique - products and services, on the busiest day of the shopping week.
The partnership's organised a quiz based on the stores' names, with a chance to win shopping vouchers worth more than £100.
There'll also be free parking on the Island's 4th July Independents' Day, at the Chester Street, Shaw's Brow and Bottleneck car parks.
