Join the IISC
An Island-based space industry think tank is looking for new members.
It comes as the International Institute of Space Commerce (IISC) appoints US expert Robert Alexander as its new Executive Director, after a 'global search'.
He joins the group following a lengthy career, which saw him work on projects including the Space Shuttle and International Space Station.
Operating from a Manx base, the IISC aims to advance discussions about how space can benefit economies across the globe.
Its chairman is the former MLC Alex Downie.
Mr Alexander says at this 'crucial time in human history' - where making a living beyond earth is possible - it's his intent to 'make the commerce of space more enticing' for everyone.
Joining the IISC is free as an individual, with added benefits for corporate members.
