Two-day drum slog returns next month
Organisers of a marathon drumming session have been given a 'winning hand' through business sector support.
The Big Beat fundraiser next month will be partnered by PokerStars.
It takes place on the 24th of February, when a team of 6 drummers will play for over 50 hours to raise money for Craig's Heartstrong Foundation.
The session is being supported by the e-gaming company through its 'Helping Hands' programme.
Martin Rigby from Big Beat says PokerStars' help allows the percussionists to remain completely focused on the task ahead.
Donations to the Big Beat can be made via the charity's JustGiving page.
