A team from Ballakermeen High School was among the top 200 student entrepreneurs in the 2009 Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe Company of the Year competition.
The event was hosted by Young Enterprise Netherlands and held from July 2 to July 5 at the World Trade Centre in Rotterdam, the European Youth Capital of 2009.
The Ballakermeen team, Element, earned its place in the competition with victory in the Junior Achievement Isle of Man Company of the Year event for its Teacher Top Traits, a spin-off of the Top Trumps card game.
