Douglas office receives top marks in several sectors
Local law firm Appleby says it’s gone one better than last year in an international law guide.
The firm’s Isle of Man office achieved top Tier 1 status in nine practice areas in this year’s Legal 500, up on last year’s eight.
Individually, 16 of its lawyers in the Isle of Man were named in the directory – with seven earning the honour of being named leading lawyers.
Appleby’s Douglas office was awarded top marks in economic sectors closely associated with the Isle of Man: banking and finance, commercial, dispute resolution, insurance and pensions, private client, trusts and tax, shipping, aviation and space, investment funds and capital markets, employment and e-gaming.
