The Financial Supervision Commission has issued a warning about a website and companies associated with it.
They are Apex Global Platinum Inc. and AGP ONLINE Worldwide, which can be found at apexglobal.org
The website says: "Apex Global Platinum Inc. is an international offshore payment center registered under (the) Financial Supervision Commission.
"Apex Global Platinum Inc is a wholly owned and a subsidiary of NATIONAL CITY BANK, licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission to take deposits and make payments."
The FSC says it hasn't licensed the company, and it doesn't have a presence on the Island.
Under the circumstances, the commission strongly urges anyone considering dealing with the firms to exercise the greatest possible caution.
