Treasury Minister Anne Craine says she is cautiously optimistic about inflation, despite expecting it to rise in the months ahead.
Although it dropped from 6.7 per cent in April to 6.3 per cent last month, she says the future remains uncertain.
She believes much will depend on what happens to oil and other commodity prices:
