Accountancy firm KPMG has formed an association with the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
KPMG recently decided to take on an annual charity, highlighting and supporting a different cause each year, and staff voted for the MNDA to be the first one to be supported.
The recent Santa Dash raised over £500 in sponsorship and the company intends to run further fundraising events every month.
The MNDA is a local, independently funded charity, which receives support and backing from the national organisation.
Its chair on the Island Sue Robinson says having KPMG's support is a fantastic boost.
