Professor Peter Edge (Oxford Brookes University) and Dr Catriona Mackie (UCM) will draw on their recent Culture Vannin funded research project, “Women in Manx Politics” to explore with you what being an MHK involves, myths about getting to be an MHK, deciding to run for the Keys, and practical tips on running for the Keys. This is a non-partisan event, open to anyone wishing to learn more about the role of MHKs or considering running for the Keys. It is not connected to any political party, Cabinet Office, or Tynwald.
