Join us on Friday 28th March and view Douglas Quayside in 1896... The Cable Car in Victoria Street... the double decker electric tram on the Marine Drive... as well as a working Douglas Swing Bridge. Also walk around the grounds of the Palace Ballroom and Coliseum in 1913... This presentation is all very cleverly created and presented by Stuart Green - an event not to be missed!
Non-members most welcome at our new venue: St Andrew's Church, Parkfield Corner, on Glencrutchery Road, Douglas (with plenty of vehicular access off Glencrutchery Road). The event commences at 7.30pm. Admission : Members Free, Non-Members £4 contribution to room hire - and includes light refreshments.
