Palmer on Front Row

Castletown rider Chris Palmer will start from third place on the grid in the 125cc race at Saturday's North West 200. However, he has failed to qualify his 250cc machine.

Ramsey's Conor Cummins has qualified in 9th for the Superbike and Superstock races, but is listed as a non-qualifier in the Supersport class.

He had problems with his 600cc bike during Tuesday's practice session and didn't get out on Thursday as the session was lost due to rain and fading light.

Daniel Kneen and Gavin Hunt have both put in strong perfomances at their debut North West 200.

Kneen is 16th fastest in the Superstock and 18th in the Supersport.

Hunt is 21st in the Superstockand 34th in the Superbike.

New Zealand's Bruce Anstey will start from pole position in the feature Superbike race ahead of John McGuinness, Alastair Seeley, Keith Amor, Steve Plater and Cameron Donald.
