Report by Ben Cunningham:

Mens Prem

Valkyrs A will hope they can get level on points with Vikings A this weekend when these two meet, Valkyrs are just two points off the league leaders Vikings A so a lot at stake in this game.

Castletown A play Harlequins A in a match-up that looks very close with both sides wanting to get points from this game - finally there is a club derby between Bacchas A and Bacchas B which I’m sure will be a good friendly match.

Ladies Prem

All these games this weekend are big games and could possibly decide how the second half of the season will unfold.

Bacchas A play Castletown A and both these sides look very well matched so this could come down to a moment of magic to get the win.

Vikings A who are the league leaders play Valkyrs A who are hunting them down and will be hoping they can cause Vikings a shock this weekend - finally at the bottom of the table Castletown B play second-from-bottom Harlequins A who have the advantage coming into this game having got a point on the board already.

Mens Div One

Ramsey A who have had a great start to the season and are looking like really challenging for the promotion play Harlequins B who are still hunting for their first points of the season.

Castletown B play Valkyrs B in the battle of the B teams with Valkyrs knowing they need to get the win to keep the pressure on at the top whilst there is another club derby - it’s Vikings C playing Vikings B which will be a close match.

Ladies Div One

A bottom-of-the-table clash between Castletown C and Bacchas C takes place with both teams desperate for the points, however Castletown do have the upper hand as they do have a point and Bacchas C are still looking for their first points... could this be their weekend?

Elsewhere there is close battle ahead and Vikings B meet Valkyrs B in what will be an end-to-end game with both teams looking really good and Ramsey A play Bacchas B in yet again another game that both teams are looking really good and coming into it on good form in the league.

Mens Div Two

Castletown C play Valkyrs C with both teams having good starts to the season this will be a great match and Bacchas D head north to play Ramsey B in what will be a good friendly end-to-end game in good spirits.

Ladies Div Two

The top two in this league meet this weekend as Harlequins B play Castletown D - the southerners are currently top coming into this game but Harlequins will be wanting to try and take that spot off them.

Valkyrs C play Vikings C in a battle of the C teams which I’m sure will be a great game - Finally Castletown E welcome Ramsey B to the south with both teams looking very evenly-matched.

U15’s

Finally in the U15’s league that has been really interesting to watch and see the results that have been coming in from the up and coming talent we have in Manx hockey, Ramsey Rogues and Rascals play Bacchas and Castletown Sabres play Harlequins
