Coward shows his Sunday best

Jamie Coward secured a Sunday best with a treble triumph at the Blackfords pre-TT Classic at Billown.

After pipping Tom Snow and Brian Mateer in the Superbikes up to 350cc class and then seeing off Alan Oversby and Steven Elliott in the 500cc Senior classic, Coward won the final Superbike race of the day from Steve Mercer and Tim Poole.

Tim Glover saw him cross the line.

Earlier, Mick Moreton won the pre-TT classic support race from Dave Cooper and Stuart Noon, while Ewan Hamilton took the 250cc Lightweight honours ahead of Adrian Harrison and Mike Hose.

Hose secured his second victory of the weekend in the Junior Classic from Oversby and Coward, while Oversby saw off Coward and Peter Boast in the 850cc classic.

Eddie Wright and Kieran Clark repeated their Saturday success by taking victory in the final race of the day, the Camathias Cup sidecar event, from Rod Bellas and Trevor Johnson.

Wally Saunders and Bob Dowty were third.
